Replacement of existing prefabricated changing rooms to rear compound at Henry Street Garda Station.

ASP nominated as a specialist sub-contractor working with the main contractor to deliver a bespoke solution for the Office of Public Works. The scope of works included the demolition and removal of existing prefabricated structure, temporary decamp during the construction period and manufacture and install of new modular changing rooms for an Garda Siochana.

Bespoke design allowed the client to mirror the existing footprint of previous building to ensure a smooth transition on a live site. ASP worked with the lead architect to develop a bespoke building, designed for the new changing and shower facility. The solution comprised two standalone modular buildings, offering bright, highly-insulated solution.

The interior was fitted out to a high specification to meet the requirements set by OPW. Building 1 incorporated both male & female changing and shower facilities accessed through shared lobby. Each changing room includes high-quality showers in individual cubicles, WC’s, coat hooks and bench seating, lockers, and non-slip flooring throughout. Building 2 comprises of two separately accessed drying rooms.
